Product description

The HP Designjet 3500CP printer comes with a 4.3 GB hard drive, MIO card, and PostScript 3 (R). It has 36 megabytes (MB) of memory. It generates high performance large-format, 54-inch wide color prints using HP proprietary thermal Inkjet technology. It has an all-new ink system that provides 600 real dots per inch (dpi) and a 350 cc off-axis ink supply for each color.

The HP Designjet 3500CP printer can work with two different ink systems: the HP Designjet CP Ink System using dye-based inks and the HP Designjet CP Ink System UV using pigmented inks. The former is intended to be used for the highest-quality prints with no fading for years in indoor light; the latter has been specifically developed for applications requiring enhanced outdoor and indoor lightfastness.

Memory

36 MB of standard memory (4 MB in the main board plus two 16 MB SIMMs) plus an additional 4 MB of printing memory, which is reserved for the printer and cannot be utilized by the end user.

Two SIMM slots are available, making the total expandable to 68 MB.

Reliability

The HP Designjet 3500CP printers are designed for an average 10 to 20 prints per day. However, they can handle 40 to 50 prints per day for occasional or unexpected project deadlines.
