HP Color LaserJet 1500 Printer Series - Cleaning and Calibrating the Printer

Introduction

This document describes how to clean the printer engine, and how to calibrate the printer to improve print quality.

During the printing process, paper, toner and dust particles can accumulate inside the printer. Over time, this buildup can cause print-quality problems such as toner specks or smearing. The printer has a cleaning mode that can correct and prevent these types of problems.
