HP rp5700 Desktop PC - Removing and Replacing Cover
This document is provided to assist in removing and replacing the Cover for HP rp5700 Desktop PC.
Minimum skill level
The End User requires no training to replace the defective part in offline mode however the End User requires familiarity with system hardware and software requiring repair. The End User may require system hardware, system software and operating system knowledge if repairs are performed while in an online mode. For example, customers may be asked to apply their standard backup and restore or configuration utility procedures. Customers may also be asked to perform recovery or diagnostic and service tool procedures that have been designed for non-expert customer use and are readily available. The end user must have the ability to follow basic oral instructions from the Support Agent or diagrammed written instructions.
NOTE: Part numbers are subject to change.
The replacement part number will vary depending on the Cover that is being replaced.
NOTE: For customers in countries/regions with RoHS legislation* (e.g. EU, China, etc.) restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical equipment. The use of the Original Spare part is regulated by RoHS legislation. If your unit contains a part that is labelled with the Modified Spare number, the Modified Spare must be ordered as the replacement part. If your unit contains a part that is labelled with the Original Spare number, please order the Original Spare as the replacement part. In this case either the Original Spare or the Modified Spare may be shipped which will not affect performance or functionality of the unit.
