HP LaserJet P4014/P4015/P4515 Printer Series - Black Stripe on the Left Side of the Page Occurs Sporadically

Occasionally a black stripe is visible on each printout of the page. For an example, see the following figure.

The failure occurred when the printer is located near a window, and the sun is shining into the Fan Ventilation Slits , which are located on the left side of the printer. What can happen is that the sunlight exposes a small area of the Imaging Drum surface that causes the black stripe. The final solution to solve this issue is to place the printer to an HP-specified environment with no direct sunlight.
