DESCRIPTION

If HP Protect Tools version 4.00.11.152 is configured with Preboot security and Drive Encryption, the one-step logon fails. Protect Tools will prompt the user to input credentials at Preboot and Full Volume Encryption logon. However, if the Drive Encryption security is disabled, the one-step logon will work properly. This issue occurs on notebooks that have never been a part of any domain.
