HP LaserJet - Products not supported in Windows 7

Products not supported

The following products are not supported and do not have any driver options available in the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system:

  • HP 9085mfp

  • HP Color 9850mfp

  • HP Color LaserJet 1500 Printer series

  • HP Color LaserJet 3500 and 3550 Printer series (32-bit only)

    NOTE: The HP Color LaserJet 3500 and 3550 have a workaround available in Windows 7 64-bit via a USB connection only. Go to Install the Windows Vista solution to enable printing in Windows 7 (c03780992) (in English).
  • HP Color LaserJet 8550 Multifunction Printer series

  • HP LaserJet Plus Printer

  • HP LaserJet IId Printer

  • HP LaserJet IIId and IIIsi Printers

    NOTE: The HP LaserJet III and IIIp ARE supported. Use Windows Update to obtain the driver.
  • HP LaserJet 4LC and 4LJ Printers

  • HP LaserJet 5L Extra Printer

  • HP LaserJet 5se Printer

  • HP LaserJet 6L Pro Printer

  • HP LaserJet 500 Plus Printer

  • HP LaserJet 1000 Printer

  • HP LaserJet 1005 Printer

  • HP LaserJet P1009 Printer

  • HP LaserJet 1010 Printer

  • HP LaserJet 1012 Printer

  • HP LaserJet 2000 Printer series

  • HP LaserJet 3100 All-in-One Printer series

  • HP LaserJet 3150 All-in-One Printer series

  • HP Mopier 240

  • HP Mopier 320

If your product is not listed here, it is supported. Go to www.hp.com/go/support to search for a driver download.

What can I do?

If you have a product that is not supported in Windows 7, you may be eligible for a trade-in allowance you can use toward the purchase of any new HP printer and more. To find out whether your product is eligible, go to HP Trade-In Program page (www.hp.com/go/tradein), select Printer - Laser from the Product category list, select the trade-in quantity, and then click >>.

If you are using the new Windows 7 operating system on your PC, you might also consider an upgrade to a newer HP product that will work with Microsoft's new Windows 7 operating system.
