HP Wireless Single-Function and Multifunction Printers - Printing from Your Apple Device with Non-Web-Enabled Printers (No Apple AirPrint or HP ePrint Support)

Introduction

If you do not have an HP ePrint-enabled printer, you cannot print from an Apple device using the HP ePrint service or Apple's AirPrint. However, HP has a free mobile printing solution for HP wireless printers: the HP ePrint mobile app. Learn how to download the app, and then print from your Apple device.

What is the HP ePrint mobile app?

The HP ePrint mobile app is the essential app to support all your HP mobile printing needs. The HP ePrint mobile app is available for Apple iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch running iOS 4.2 or later and for Android mobile devices running OS 2.2 and later. You can easily print your digital content wirelessly to supported HP printers on a local wireless network. Additionally, you can print to your HP ePrint-enabled printer via the Cloud at home, the office, or on-the-go, whenever the printer is connected to the Internet. You can even print to thousands of HP ePrint Public Print Locations worldwide.

For Apple devices, the HP ePrint mobile app is available for free in the Apple App Store or as an update to HP ePrint Home & Biz. For Android mobile devices, the HP ePrint mobile app is available for free in the Google Play Store or as an update to HP ePrint Home and Biz.

The HP ePrint mobile app is an update to HP ePrint Home & Biz for Apple and Android mobile devices.

If you previously installed ePrint Home & Biz, HP recommends that you upgrade to the HP ePrint mobile app. The update is available in Apple’s App Store or in your My Apps list in the Google Play Store for Android.
